Parks
Our large dog park is where most of the action happens- pups and people socialize, there is a full service cafe (with mugs, keurig coffee wizard, microwave, etc provided), lots of seating, free wi-fi, and of course lots of room to run!
We provide a variety of fun toys for your dog to choose from, so there's no need to bring your own.
There is also a small dog park for little ones, or anyone that's too intimidated by the action in the large park. Just as fun, but smaller and quieter!
We get a lot of questions about our grass! It is called K9 grass and is made specifically with dogs in mind- so it feels like the real thing. We deep clean it nightly to keep the park smelling as fresh as possible, and throughout the day spray a heavy duty enzyme cleaner wherever a dog potties.
We are now partnered with Green Dog Cleaning Company and use their 100% compostable dog waste bags! When our barrel outside is full, Green Dog whisks it away to be used as compost for non-food items. Awesome!
Microbe Free Facility
Fido’sTM recently contracted with mPact Environmental Solutions to become the first dog park in the Northwest to be treated with their product--ÆGIS Microbe Shield. What does that mean to you and your dog? A facility that is now in control of indoor contaminants, such as mold, bacteria, odors, allergens, pet dander, fungi, mildew, and many others. It will protect your dog against kennel cough and other diseases carried by dogs (the protection does not cover direct contact with an infected dog).
Pool
Our indoor swimming pool is a great way to exercise your dog! Did you know that 15 minutes of swimming is like 1 hour of running for pups? We have toys available for your use: sturdy Kongs and Orbees as well as good ol' fashioned tennis balls.
Swimming is a gentle, non-weight bearing activity, so it's easy on the joints- especially for older dogs or those who have had leg surgeries. The pool is about 5 ft deep.. but don't worry! It's easy for your dog to get in and out with the help of our doggy dock (for big dogs) and our scamper ramps (for the little guys). It's important to us that your pooch be confident and comfortable getting in and out, so we always have staff available to help dogs learn to use the dock and ramps!
We know that many dogs have sensitive skin and allergies, so our pool is 98% chemical free. Easy on your dog's skin (and easy on your nose)! We also have life jackets available for use in every size.. just in case your pup is out of practice ;)
Boarding
We're not big fans of cages here. Dogs don't think they're much fun and neither do we. Since we believe that tired dogs are good dogs, the only time your dog will spend in a den is when he's sleeping and when
he's eating. From 6:30am to 8pm, your dog will be running in the park, hanging out with us behind the front desk.. or, if you request pool time, swimming his heart out.
When your dog stays with us overnight (or longer), they'll get their own private den. All you need to bring is your dog's food, but you're welcome (and encouraged!) to bring your pup's bed, blankets, or anything else that is comforting to them.
Here is what we do for our boarding dogs:
- We walk all of the boarders twice a day outside first thing in the morning and last thing at night. (no extra charge at fidos)
- Dogs get to play all day in the park or have breaks in the lobby, versus hour long breaks in crates or dens like so many other facilities.
- Dogs get to choose where they want to be..if they are tired or need a break, they come to the front lobby and hang out on the couches.
- No extra cost on having to give your dog medication or any special treatments.
- No time restrictions for drop off and pick up times throughout the day, most places have a window of time for pick up and drop offs and won't acccept dogs after certain times and charge late fees to the customers when they are late or last minute scheduled.
So with this said we are very unique as far as our boarding goes and this is something that we would like to put emphasis on.
Daycare
We have the largest doggy daycare facility in Oregon with 20,000 sqft of space for dogs to play. You can drop off as early as 6:30am and pick up as late as 8pm.
- Dogs get to play all day in the park or have breaks in the lobby, versus hour long breaks in crates or dens like so many other facilities.
- Dogs get to choose where they want to be..if they are tired or need a break, they come to the front lobby and hang out on the couches.
- No extra cost on having to give your dog medication, snacks or food.
- No time restrictions for drop off and pick up times throughout the day.
- Webcams set up so you can watch your dog play while you are away.
- Trained staff to monitor and interact with dogs thorughout their stay.
Grooming
If your pup needs a bath or a brush, you can use our grooming facilities! We have two giant stainless steel tubs that can fit any size dog. We provide several different shampoos, brushes, and perfumes to fit your dog's
needs and are stocked with nail clippers, ear solutions, cotton swabs, etc... everything that your pooch needs to look his best!
